Human Resources Division.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Advise and assist the General Director in areas related to human resource management and resource development in order to implement the BAV's strategy and business plan in each period

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Planning and building strategies and plans on organization, staff, personnel arrangement, issues related to organizational structure (establishment, dissolution of professional units), mission and development orientation of BAV

- The focal point for developing and implementing recruitment policies, looking for qualified candidates, and develop suitable human resources to implement BAV's business strategy in each development stage

- The focal point in building a system of salary calculation, bonus, social insurance, health insurance and other welfare regimes for employees

- The focal point for managing and implementing BAV's labor regulations and rules; organizing emulation and reward programs; handling labor's violations; encouraging activities on labor relations to build BAV's culture.



Procurement Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Presiding over building the process of purchasing goods, materials and services of BAV

- Initial appraisal of Procurement Proposals, negotiate and propose selection of supplier for procurement proposals for goods, supplies and services 

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Responsible for receiving proposals and conducting procurement procedures for goods, supplies and services for the following activities: aircraft purchase, technical aspects (maintenance, repair, overhaul of aircraft, engines, propellers, fuel, urgent orders for daily flight...); insurance, cargo, and services for activities in the field of communication and marketing. 

- Responsible for testing and evaluating the capacity of the suppliers. Searching and evaluating sources to ensure that supplier has enough capacity to supply goods, materials, and services at competitive prices, meeting quality and quantity usage for proposal procurement unit.

- Coordinate with units that directly use goods, services and supplier in publishing work handover and acceptance.

- Make payments to partners for contracts and orders issued by the Procurement Division and provide complete payment records according to BAV's payment process.

Pilot Training Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Pilot Training Division is responsible for all tasks related to pilot training.

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Compile and update training materials for ground training, SIM, SFL

- Plan ground training, SIM

- Receive training proposals, organize training courses for pilots

- Supervise the training process

- Compile and update the Pilot's Training Record

- Stamp the license term in the pilot's logbook

- Complete the Aviation Security Knowledge Training Certificate

- Support to interview, test theory and practice for pilots

- Manage pilots' certificates

Cabin Crew Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Cabin Crew Division is responsible for performing duties related to cabin crew training.

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Compile, update, and manage Cabin Crew training programs and materials

- Coordinate with other units and partners to build and rent training equipment for Cabin Crews

- Coordinate with other units to ensure that flight attendant training activities comply with the regulations of authorities and BAV

- Complete training certificates for Cabin Crews

- Design and update other training programs/projects

Information Technology Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Advising and supporting the General Director and Deputy General Director in the fields related to information technology application management in order to implement BAV's strategy and business plan in each period

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Manage and supervise work progress related to information technology

- Proposing additional requirements, modifying the functions of information technology applications to suit the implementation in each period

- Comply with BAV's operating procedures and regulations and the internal regulations of the information technology department

Finance - Accounting Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Accounting Division advises and assists the Board of Directors in performing the following operations: Financial and tax reporting, revenue management accounting, expense and payment, financial accounting information.

- Finance Division advises and assists the Board of Directors in performing the following operations: Develop and implement financial strategies, mobilize capital sources to serve BAV's activities, develop financial plans to optimize capital structure and cost of capital, Cash flow management, monitor budget implementation

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Actively implement plans, management, and administration measures in accordance with the organization and operation regulations of the Unit and BAV

- Actively dealing with State management agencies and relevant agencies to perform the duties of the Division.

- Propose to the Board of Directors policies, measures, solutions, plans in the field of financial accounting and management accounting

- Advising the Board of Directors to develop financial plans to optimize capital structure and cost of capital

- Develop and monitor budget implementation

- Cash flow management, financial analysis and management

Marketing - Communication Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible to the Board of Directors for communication activities

- Advise and support the Board of Directors in managing and implementing internal communications, developing press and media relations with the public, organizations, units and external partners

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Prepare plan for developing press and media relations, internal communication each year

- Follow the plan and request for communication work

- Support units to handle crisis communication in press and social media

- Maintain information about BAV regularly in newspapers

- Control information about BAV in press

- Building a positive image of BAV in the media

- Plan, coordinate and effectively implement internal communication activities

- Monitor, control and evaluate the effectiveness of internal communication activities

- Make regularly media reports

- Advise the Board of Directors on communication strategy, press relationship, and internal communication activities.


Corporate Planning Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Corporate Planning Division has the function of advising the Commercial Unit on market development, flight network and fleet, product plan, annual output, route management, flight schedule, commercial cooperation, hire and transport goods and parcels.

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Research and develop a plan on the market, flight network, and fleets of Bamboo Airways

- Research and propose to open new routes on the basis of the company's plan

- Develop, implement, and operate the annual air transport plan (flight route, frequency, passenger forecast, and revenue) as a basis for building production and business plan of Bamboo Airways

- Develop, deploy, and operate IATA seasonal commercial flight schedule outside of phase T+3

- Collect market information daily, update data and evaluate sales situation for each flight segment to make appropriate adjustment in price

- Perform predictive analytics on recurring revenue management

- Monitor, control, and evaluate the performance in implementing the governance plan

- Evaluate, analyze, negotiate, sign, and implement of commercial cooperation agreement (joint ventures)

- Carry out work related to policy making and management of leasing activities

Sales Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales Division has the function of advising and assisting the Board of Directors of the Commercial Unit in formulating the company's business development strategy to ensure the achievement of business goals and strategies

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Develop products, policies, network of agents, travel agencies, and businesses

- Build aeronautical and non-aviation product programs on the basis of available channels of the company to increase revenue 

- Develop customer care policies and organize after-sales activities

E-Commerce Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

E-Commerce Division has the function of advising and assisting the Board of Directors of the Commercial Unit in formulating a strategy to develop the company's selling activities on the e-commerce platform, ensuring the implementation of the company's business strategy

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Responsible for planning, building, implementing and managing sales on e-commerce channels

- Act as the focal point for effective content management on BAV's website and mobile application

- Responsible for the development and management of global distribution channels for Bamboo Airways


Sale Support Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop, implement, and operate of the reservation system (PSS) and issues related to flight control system (SCC)

- Implement and operate Bamboo Club's center to ensure an increase in customer loyalty, and effective use of bonus points as well as commercial relationships inside and outside of BAV

- Build, implement, and operate the Reservation Department and Customer Information/ Call Center

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Flight control and commercial duty

- Control and manage the reservation system

- Professional support (Helpdesk) 

- Build, implement, and operate Bamboo Club Center (BBC), Booking Center (BC), Call Center (CC) to ensure customer loyalty, and effectively use of bonus point as well as commercial relationships inside and outside the company 

Inflight Services Department

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Advise and assist the Board of Directors in establishing policies, procedures and standards for in-flight passenger services and managing air service operations (meals, drinks, equipment on the passenger cabin, newspapers, entertainment, supplies for passengers and crew, medical supplies for first aid and emergency aircraft, aircraft cleaning) on flights operated

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Research and develop new services and products 

- Deploy air service standards, supply norms, procedures, instructions, check-ins for air service operations. Carry out training, guidance and handling tasks arising in the implementation process

- Deploy the air service plans for special aircraft and charters

- Control the quality of catering services, supplies and products used on the aircraft and propose solutions to improve the service. Report the air services provided on the plane in accordance with the standards and norms as prescribed

- Develop budget plans, statistics, analysis, reports for air services

- Participate in negotiations and organize the signing of air service contracts


C-Vip Operation management department

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

C-Vip Operation management department has the function of advising and assisting the Board of Directors in setting up, operating and administering the BAV's business lounge system

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Preside over the implementation of setting up and developing business lounge services at airports.

- Participate in negotiations and signing of C-Vip and food-catering, equipment suppliers

- Organize and operate BAV's C-Vip lounges 

- Analyze, evaluate and propose solutions to effectively manage costs and associated revenue that relate to the provision of business lounge services.

Ground Services Department

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ground Services Department has the function of advising and assisting the Board of Directors in formulating policies and standards, and organizing, implementing, and supervising Bamboo Airways ground operation, air service, and customer service activities

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Preside over the development, policies, and requirements of air transport services (ground services, air services); propose a plan to develop new types of air transport services;

- Organize the implementation, supervision, and inspection of passenger service activities according to the policies and requirements of service quality that have been issued by Bamboo Airways;

- Draft and negotiate ground and air service contracts between Bamboo Airways and partners;

- Monitor and analyze expenses for Bamboo Airways air transport services;

- Manage the supply, operation, and inspection of the use of facilities used in BAV air transport services in accordance with the issued standard.


Maintenance Centre (AMO)

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintenance Center has the function of advising, assisting and performing tasks for the Chairman, CEO in managing and maintaining the technical status of BAV's fleets

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Advise on technical issues and technical development of BAV

- On behalf of the company to manage and maintain the technical status of BAV's fleet

- Organize the construction and development of aircraft and aircraft equipment to meet the requirements of BAV's fleet development

- Establish appropriate maintenance bases at airports in BAV's flight network, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost savings

- Manage and maintain supplies inventory to meet maintenance requirements for BAV's fleet

- Set standards, carry out inspection and supervision to ensure aircraft quality assurance 

Technical Training Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Training Division is responsible for performing tasks related to the training of technicians to maintain aircraft, aircraft equipment, contents related to aircraft engineering

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Develop the content of the training program/ subject and submit for approval on the basis of MCM documents of BAV AOC and MOTP of BAV AMO;

- Develop program content and approve teachers to conduct training courses for technicians to meet the requirements of the Aviation Safety Regulations;

- Develop and update textbooks, lesson plans, lectures, and exams for training programs/ technical lessons A320F, Boeing, Embraer;

- Update works related to maintaining competency.

General Training Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

General Training Division is responsible for carrying out training tasks related to the following subjects: General Training, Services & Ground Operation Training, Flight Operations Training, and Commercial Training

KEY ACTIVITIES

- General Training department is responsible for the implementation of general training tasks related to the entry, overview, integration, on board in order to meet the development needs of Bamboo Airways

- Services & Ground Operation Training department is responsible for performing duties related to training ground service staff, and ground equipment operators in accordance with the regulations of the authorities and meeting BAV's development needs

- Flight Operation Training department is responsible for performing training tasks related to flight operations management to meet the development needs of Bamboo Airways

- Commercial Training department is responsible for performing training tasks related to BAV's commercial activities such as booking reservations, ticketing, selling products, and customer care

Operations Control Centre

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Advising and assisting the Board of Directors and the Flight Operation Units in the development of regulations, policies, and standards of the flight operation

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Formulate and promulgate standards, policies, and methods of flight operation; provide data and documents to assist relevant units to ensure the operation of the Flight Operation unit

- Dispatch and control flight operation activities in compliance with regulations and specialized aviation regulations to ensure safety and efficiency

- Develop work plans and programs in the assigned fields and deploy them after the approval of the Board of Directors

- Make periodical reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually) 

- Take charge and cooperate with relevant units in operating the flight schedule for a period of three days; coordinate and adjust the seasonal flight schedule 

- Preside over the establishment, operation, and monitoring of the flight schedule of pilots and cabin crews according to the operating period to ensure compliance with CAAV regulations and BAV's operating policies, meeting flight schedule requirements and optimizing the use of human resources

- Coordinate with relevant units to ensure flight permits for routine and non-routine flights

- Act as the focal point of Bamboo Airways to coordinate with specialized agencies inside and outside the industry to guarantee the safety and effectiveness of the flight operations

Technical Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Advise and assist the Board of Directors in managing, maintaining technical status, and developing Aviation techniques for BAV's aircraft fleet.

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Timely update the provisions of the Aviation Law related to technical and maintenance issues to develop/modify/add mechanisms and policies in technical and maintenance work to suit regulations

- Manage technical, ensure aircraft airworthiness, and develop aircraft maintenance capability and equipment to meet BAV's fleet development requirements

- Participate in negotiations on technical contents, terms, and configuration options for the procurement contracts of BAV

- Participate in negotiation, evaluation, partner selection, and preparation of relevant technical content to expand BAV's flight network

- Establish appropriate maintenance bases at airports in BAV's flight network, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost savings

- Coordinate with other units in operating the daily flight operations of BAV

- Provide solutions, and improve technical ideas to improve quality and efficiency in aircraft maintenance

Flight Crew Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively manage and exploit assigned resources to meet operational requirements

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Manage and use pilot resources; develop rules, procedures, and regulations to ensure efficient flight operations 

-  Coordinate with specialized divisions/ departments to develop long term resources plans, be responsible for exploiting pilot resources in short and medium term 

- Coordinate with the Safety Quality Department, the Training Center and Human Resources department to recruit pilot; train and upgrade after being approved by the Board of Directors

- Coordinate with Operation Control Center in scheduling flights, monitor flights for pilots to meet operational plans activities and the assignment of leaderships, ensuring that pilot's flight schedule is fair and efficient 

- Cooperate with the Flight Operation SQA Department to maintain and control safety, quality and security activities of FCD

- Coordinate with the Administration Department to support Pilot in mining activities, to ensure the work, living and specific logistics conditions for pilot


Cabin Crew Division

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively manage and use cabin crew, directly participating in flight operations of Bamboo Airways

KEY ACTIVITIES

- Manage, develop, and use cabin crew resources, develop internal rules, processes, regulations, ensure efficient flight operations, meet assigned mission requirements

- Coordinate with specialized departments to develop long-term resource plans, responsible for developing cabin crew resource plans in short and medium term strategic

- Coordinate with the Safety Quality Department, the Training Center and Human Resources department to recruit cabin crew; train and upgrade after being approved by the Board of Directors

- Cooperate with the Safety Quality Department to maintain and control safety, quality and security activities according to decentralization

- Coordinate with Operation Control Center in scheduling flights, monitor flights for cabin crew to meet operational plans activities and the assignment of leaderships, ensuring that cabin crew's flight schedule is fair and efficient 

- Receive feedback from customers and BAV's internal about the quality of service on the websites and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to process the received information

- Participate in and coordinate with the Administration Department in the development of special welfare and remuneration policies for the cabin crews
